Bowling Green

Named after the University that the owner and designer of Spurrin’ Scrubs, attended to complete her Medical Laboratory Sciences program- Bowling Green, Ohio. See below for more on her time spent there and sizing recommendations: 

With a close-knit MLS cohort of only eight others, combined with some stellar friends- this small town and my found community sure made a very large and long-lasting impact. My professors while in this program were some of the most encouraging, selfless, intelligent, and hard working individuals that I could have had educating me. All of which were women who also ran other businesses, have families, and are still actively working on furthering their education or laboratory careers. Both in and outside of the classroom, my interest and various schedules were supported from themselves and beyond!

I discovered my love for weekend trips, adventures, and traveling at any given chance while attending thanks to friends who let me sit and study along the way. Which was only further supported by my MLS Professors who even went as far as creating an agreement with the hospital system in Colorado for myself to be able to get back home and complete my clinicals between what would have been FOUR location sites. Mixed into my academics and while attending BGSU I also held numerous positions in clubs and organizations! 

Some of my most notable ones include; BGSU MLS Student Organization President, BGSU College of Health and Human Services Dean’s Advisory Committee, BGSU College of Health and Human Services Student Ambassador, the social chair and 4-year member of Kappa Delta Sorority, MEDLIFE, performance horse training assistant, assisted in beginning a collegiate 4-H program, and also worked to independently pay for my own schooling throughout! 

BGSU instilled a confidence level in myself and my career that has gone much further than a degree or certification. How fun is it to look at the full-circle of how I am now a traveling worker who gets to continue to incorporate my passions and interests!? A place my talons will always be soaring for!

I recommend sizing UP in this pattern if between sizes. Tops are made of a polyester/spandex blend with a chest and shoulders.
